We would like to welcome you to the Intelligent Systems Research Centre (NEU-ISRC / YDÜ-ASAM) homepage. The centre was founded in 2001 as the Intelligent Systems Research Group (ISRG) at the Faculty of Engineering, Near East University.
Over the past 10 years, the ISRG has investigated many innovative concepts in the field of Artificial Intelligence, introduced novel neural network models, and provided efficient solutions to practical problems in various application fields. The research work of the ISRG has been published and presented in many renowned international journals and conference proceedings. Furthermore, the ISRG has been cooperating with international affiliates on several research projects.
While the ISRG, which focuses on modeling artificial neural networks, forms the heart of the research centre, we look forward in the near future to including other research groups that focus on different disciplines in Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience. We also continue exploring emerging application in areas such as: medical imaging and diagnosis, security and surveillance, military targeting, economy and energy applications, finance and banking, food process engineering, and computational politics.
The research centre welcomes and nourishes novel ideas of our young talented students, both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The centre also welcomes academicians and researchers from different disciplines and not only engineering to cooperate with on multi-discipline research projects.
We look forward to cooperating with you on the next innovative idea.
